Things got weird yesterday at the Senate Judiciary Committee. Questions about Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s sexual history, wtf? Questions about racism? She has two black adopted children. Just when you think Congress can’t go any lower. Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi seems shaken when it comes to a COVID relief breakthrough on the bill. And Senator Mitch McConnell is daring her to not take the offer on the table.

WTF?: Dem Senator Asks Judge Barrett if She has Ever Sexually Assaulted Someone

(The Daily Mail) – Amy Coney Barrett has been asked in her Supreme Court nomination hearing whether she has ever sexually assaulted anyone. 

The Senate Judiciary Committee held its second day of hearings for the 48-year-old federal judge on Tuesday.

(Fox News) – Barrett was repeatedly grilled by Democratic lawmakers over her past comments about the Affordable Care Act (ACA), which another legal challenge to the Obama-era legislation is set to be heard by the Supreme Court just one week after the election.

Pelosi Spars with Wolf Blitzer: ‘You Really Don’t Know What You’re Talking About’

(The Hill) – Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday defended holding out for a more expansive COVID-19 economic relief package than the current proposal offered by the Trump administration in an unusually contentious interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, telling the news anchor that “you really don’t know what you’re talking about” and calling him an “apologist” for Republicans.

McConnell Dares Democrats to block Covid Relief Before Election

(Politico) – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Tuesday that the Senate will take one more shot at a “targeted” coronavirus relief bill before the election, an approach Democrats have repeatedly rejected as insufficient.

With President Donald Trump and his top aides urging the GOP to address the issue and replenish the Paycheck Protection Program for small businesses, McConnell (R-Ky.) is daring Democrats to block it again.

    I still believe God is in charge in our national election. Trump will be the winner and Democrats are going to have to pay dearly for the nonsense they have been spinning!
