A California man received a sentence of 35 years to life in prison after fatally shooting a woman and injuring her husband during an argument over the 2016 presidential election.
Jurors found that John Kevin McVoy Jr. intentionally used a firearm to kill Susan Garcia, 33. Prosecutor Irene Lee said that Garcia held her young son in her lap when McVoy opened fire.
McVoy and Susan’s husband, Victor Garcia, were members of a garage bang, Below the Faultline.
McVoy arrived at the Garcias’ home while they were hanging around the kitchen table with two friends while then-President Barack Obama’s farewell speech played on television.
The group engaged in a discussion about politics, and someone asked McVoy who he voted for. When McVoy said he voted for Hillary Clinton, Victor Garcia snapped his fingers, pointed to the door, and said, “Get the (expletive) out of my house.”
Prosecutors said McVoy then drew the revolver and fired a shot at Victor Garcia, hitting him in the head. He then turned the gun to Susan Garcia, who turned to shield their son as he fired. The bullet hit her in the left arm first and then penetrated her organs. She died inside the home.
Victor Garcia underwent two brain surgeries and now has metal plates in his head.

Is there some kind of moral of this story? It’s just a story about some crazy Hispanics & a Scotsman of a very low mentality going nuts. Incapable of having a productive conversation. Are you making a statement about Hispanics along these lines, people from Scotland? Do you share this view? I don’t really like stories like these. The incite ignorance. Try to use better judgement as to what you share in here. There is already enough hot heads in the world with very low I.Q.’s and low moral values. Like the Abortionists & those who support murder of babies, people with mental or physical disabilities and euthanasia for elderly people who they don’t care to take care of. The last thing we need is to give people the idea that Shooting People with differing political values.
