January 1, Millionaires hold protests in front of Jeff Bezos’ home

Pro-tax millionaires called on the rich to pay more in taxes. The group, which call themselves Patriotic Millionaires, launched protests in New York and Washington on Tax Day. They even made stops in front of billionaire Jeff Bezos’ homes. Look at that, progressive millionaires wanting to see billionaires pay more.

When CDC announced that fully-vaccinated Americans can ditch theirs masks, most people rejoice. Imagine, the freedom after more than a year of covering your face. However, there are vaccinated people who want to continue to wear masks not only because they get used to them but also like the extra protection.

US Airlines may start to require passengers to step on the scale at the airport before boarding a flight. According to FAA rules, the carrier’s weight and balance has to be within permissible limits for the aircraft. This issue has been raised because obesity rate in the U.S. increases.

Workaholics, listen up! Take it easy and find time for some R & R. A UN study found out that working too hard or too lone — more than 55 hours a week — is a ‘serious health hazard.’ It can increase your risk of dying from heart disease or stroke. And the rate is higher among men.

Elon Musk became the richest person in the world early in January, surpassing Jeff Bezos, after Tesla’s share price soared. He dropped to being the 2nd richest person after a few days. On Monday, Musk lost his spot to LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault as Tesla’s shares fell again.

Ariana Grande is married. The pop star and Dalton Gomez exchanged vows at her home in Montecito over the weekend with less than 20 people in attendance. Grande’s rep described the affair as “tiny and intimate.” Congratulations, lovebirds!
