A new survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) shows that more than one-third of unvaccinated American workers would rather quit their jobs than comply with a coronavirus vaccine or testing mandate.

According to the poll, 5 percent of unvaccinated adults have already left a job over vaccine mandates. As more businesses, universities, and governments require their employees to get the shot, that number could increase.

Thirty-seven percent of unvaccinated adults, about 5 percent of all adults, said they would quit their job if their employer required they get vaccinated or comply with weekly testing.

The number spiked when the testing option was taken off the table, with 72 percent of unvaccinated respondents saying they would quit.

The new poll results come as the Biden administration is drafting rules that will require all businesses with 100 or more employees to require the vaccine or weekly testing.
