Biden & Harris Stumble, Fed Cuts Rates, Bin Laden’s Son Dead
Hello My Fellow Middle Americans!
Just one more day ’til Friday and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are very ready for the weekend. Both took a beating last night during the debate. Here’s the thing though, it will cost Harris a lot more than Biden. Biden’s showed resiliency and his poll numbers have recovered. Harris’s support has been sliding. We also have a report on the Fed’s decision to cut interest rates, and the markets’ luke warm reception to the announcement from Chair Jerome Powell. Heck, President Trump said Powell ‘let us down.’ Also Osama Bin Laden is reportedly dead.
Read all about it below in today’s morning brief.

Democrat DebateNight 2: Biden Stumbles Again, Harris ‘Destroyed’
During Biden’s closing statement, he told viewers that if they agree with him, “go to Joe 3-0-3-3-0.” What? He probably meant to say ‘text the number 30330’. Doing so, subscribes people to push alerts from Biden’s campaign. For a 76 year old man, it didn’t look good.
”There are too many examples to cite, but…she blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of California. And she fought to keep cash bail system in place that impacts poor people in the worst kind of way,” Gabbard said.
Sen. Kamala Harris, who took Biden down a notch or two during the last debate, got “destroyed” her self. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard was the destroyer. She leveled Harris based on her record as a prosecutor.
Here are the best and worst performances from night two in Detroit, according to host CNN.
Fed Cuts Interest Rates For 1st Time Since 2008
“The outlook for the U.S. economy remains favorable and this action is designed to support that outlook,” Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said. He described the rate cut as an insurance policy against potential speed bumps for the economy, including rising trade tensions and a slowdown in global growth, NPR Reports.
US Believes Osama Bin Laden’s Son Hamza Is Dead
The United States believes that Hamza bin Laden, a son of slain al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and himself a notable figure in the militant group, is dead, according to NBC News, citing an unnamed U.S. official.
Asked if he had intelligence that bin Laden’s son had been killed, Trump told reporters: “I don’t want to comment on it.”
