Finally, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We are slowly returning to normalcy as states roll back restrictions ordered during the pandemic. As more and more adults get fully vaccinated and Covid-19 cases decline, summer in the US is worth the wait.

Gas prices are going through the roof. For 9 consecutive days, Southern California reported a price bump. And it seems other states were also experiencing an increase. Apparently, there’s a shortage in tanker truck drivers due to the pandemic.

After a stampede at a religious festival in Israel crushed dozens to death, another unfortunate incident occurred. This time, in Mexico City after an elevated section of its metro transit collapsed. At least 23 people were killed and 70 others injured after a subway car plunged toward a busy street.

Kroger is joining the drone delivery service. This high-tech service can accommodate deliveries of up to five pounds straight to customers’ doors. The drone service can deliver to wherever you are in as little as 15 minutes. Wow, imagine asking Kroger to deliver flour when you run out while baking.

Bill Gates, co-founder and former CEO of Microsoft, and his wife, Melinda French Gates, said on Twitter on Monday that they will split up after 27 years. The two will keep working together on philanthropic efforts, which have addressed education, gender equality and health care.

Conan O’Brien officially announced an end date for his long-running talk show on TBS Monday night, which will also mark the end of O’Brien’s 28-year career as a late night host. We’ll miss you, Conan.
