January 1, Kamala Harris frustrated with ‘The View’ after last week’s false-positive fiasco

Vice President Kamala Harris’ office is irritated with “The View” following last week’s debacle with two of the hosts’ leaving the set mid-show over what turned out to be false-positive COVID-19 test results.

Sources familiar with the matter claimed that Harris’ office required the hosts to take a PCR test within 24 hours of the scheduled interview, and they received word that the tests came back negative.

Harris and her team were as surprised as everyone else by the awkward moment when a producer abruptly pulled hosts Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro from the set for positive tests, just as Harris’ interview was about to start.

“That led to some really awkward television that I’d like to have back if I could,” said Brian Teta, executive producer of “The View.”

Sources said Harris’ office was “deeply concerned” over the show’s lack of communication.
